"Solo Vives Una Vez" tells the story of how the Mexican tradition of "Day of the Dead" is carried out in the neighboring cultures of Texas and Mexico. This
documentary records the holiday's tradition in haunted Nuevo Laredo contrasted with the cultural diffusion as it is practiced in Dallas by Mexican-Americans and non-Hispanic Americans.

Working on this documentary was a delight for me. I was exposed to editing other peoples work and a beautiful culture, tradition, and at times - language different from my own. This documentary is directed by Patricio Salinas. ~ Anna
